What the price covers

Cancellations, no-shows and refunds

  • Payment is made in full at the time of booking.
  • Cancellation more than 24 (twenty-four) hours before the scheduled consultation is free of charge.
  • A single fixed fee (R200) applies to a cancellation made within 24 (twenty-four) hours of the scheduled consultation, or to a no-show (where the Patient does not attend).
  • No fee is charged where the healthcare practitioner cancels the consultation.
  • Once clinical services have commenced, no refund is due merely because the Patient did not receive the particular prescription, sick note, referral or other outcome requested. The fee is for the professional consultation, not for a guaranteed result.
  • Refunds may additionally be issued for a technical failure that prevented the consultation, a cancellation by the practitioner, or a duplicate payment. Once approved and processed, refunds may take between 3 and 12 business days to reflect, depending on the payment provider and banking system.
  • Refunds may be issued at the discretion and approval of the booked healthcare provider. Any refund request must be submitted directly to the healthcare provider with whom the consultation was booked.

Medical aid

You pay online when you book. After your consult you get a medical invoice by email to submit to your medical aid for possible reimbursement. Reimbursement depends on your plan and is not guaranteed.
